Southern Company celebrates International Women's Day

At Southern Company, Our Values continue to drive our success as they guide us and define who we are and how we operate as a business. One of those Values, Total Commitment, signifies that we fully embrace, respect and value our diversity.

As part of our celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Southern Company recognized the women who make their mark on our company and our communities each and every day.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is Press for Progress. The goal is to “motivate and unite friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive.”
