Georgia Power wins Southeastern Regional Emmy Award

Georgia Power was awarded the 44th Annual Southeast Regional Emmy Award in the Commercial category for its Georgia Power Marketplace ​commercial.

The Southeast Regional Emmy Awards, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Southeast Chapter​, is based in Atlanta and serves markets in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and North Carolina. Winners were announced during an awards ceremony on Saturday, June 16, at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead. Corporate Communication leadership was on hand to accept the award.

Georgia Power triumphed over five other finalists in the Commercial category to earn this prestigious honor.
