Annual Meeting of Stockholders
<p>CEO Tom Fanning's address at the 2016 covered the company's financial performance and the latest developments in Southern Company's full portfolio strategy. In keeping with the meeting's "REAL Solutions" theme, Fanning also shared examples of energy solutions provided by Southern Company subsidiaries to a variety of customers throughout the region. The meeting began with the singing of the Star Spangled Banner by the "Southern Company Virtual Chorus," featuring over 180 employee vocalists from across the system.</p>
